Voice of the Youth Network, Official Youth Media Partner of NYC

Voice of the Youth Network (VOTY), a volunteer youth organization that aims to inform, inspire, involve and empower the Filipino youth through media and ICT, is now the official youth media partner of the National Youth Commission (NYC).

VOTY’s Founder, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) together with NYC Chair Gio Tingson on July 13, 2015 in the NYC office in Quezon City. The MOA was signed in the presence of NYC Commissioners Dingdong Dantes, Earl Saavedra, JP Penol, Perci Cendana, and Kit Cruz, and NYC’s Executive Director Shierwin Taay.
As the official youth media partner, VOTY will be responsible for the promotion of NYC’s programs and activities through their radio programs all over the country, as well as VOTY’s website and social media profiles. With over 100,000 members and about 20 radio programs all over the PHilippines, the partnership will enable more young people to be informed and to participate in NYC’s youth development programs.

NYC’s programs include the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP) – an annual cultural exchange program that aims to promote friendship and appreciation of cultural diversities for the ASEAN youth, and Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) – an annual search and recognition program for outstanding youth organizations in nationwide.
